Dispatch Riders

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Dispatch Rider to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages/documents/food items to our customers. The ideal candidate is a skilled rider with excellent knowledge of Lagos/Abuja/Awka routes and a commitment to high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliveries: Pick up and deliver items to designated locations within specified timeframes.
• Route Planning: Plan the most efficient routes using GPS or local road knowledge to ensure prompt delivery.
• Payment & Documentation: Collect payments (if applicable), obtain signatures for proof of delivery, and update delivery logs daily.
• Bike Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of the motorcycle, ensure it is clean and roadworthy, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Customer Service: Communicate professionally with customers to verify addresses and provide delivery updates.
• Safety: Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies (HSE).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSCE).
• License: A valid Motorcycle Rider’s Permit or License is mandatory.
• Experience: 3 years of proven experience as a dispatch rider or in a similar delivery role.
• Navigation Skills: Excellent knowledge of road networks and proficiency in using Google Maps.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to ride for long hours and handle packages up to 25kg.
• Communication: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Tools: Must possess a functional Android smartphone for navigation and delivery tracking.
